HE Said, we said …

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”
~ Psalm 119:105, King David

“Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”
~ Romans 15:4; Apostle Paul

“If you have a Bible that's falling apart, you'll have a life that's not.”
~ Adrian Rogers

“When you give your attention to the Word of God, every other area in your life will be successful.”
~ Gloria Copeland

If the Bible is a cornerstone of our life journey, we’ll discover that how we live will reflect the Bible’s answers and that will mean less turmoil along the path we take.  We will have a life that is consistent, it's as Bully Sunday preached, “The inconsistency is not in the Bible, but in your life.”  ~ Owen Mannin

Myth or Breath?

The Bible isn’t a true book; it’s merely a collection of ancient myths; or it is absolute truth.

As a book written by people long ago, the Bible, or Scriptures, would merely be history laced with mystical lore. Had men penned what is the Bible by their knowledge and imagination, then all it would be is myth.  The breath of God, his Spirit, uttered every word into existence.

With that, from beginning to end it is absolute Truth. We cannot accept God’s salvation without accepting His being Creator and dealing with the issue with sin he placed in

Scripture, to deny any of what God has breathed into Word is to deny all.  So, it is either not true and a myth, or complete truth and what eternal salvation is built upon.

So, it is myth, or the God Life breathed truth that “that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Because God is living and breathing he gave us the “the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

~ 2 Timothy 3:15-16
